Furniture removal in Prestwich covers the M25 postcode district, including Sedgley Park and Simister, on the Bury side of the border with north Manchester. Send a photo of the furniture, get a fixed price back, and two people take it apart if needed, carry it out from wherever it stands and load it onto the van.
Prestwich is mostly semis and larger terraces, and the furniture tends to be big: triple wardrobes built in the bedroom by the delivery crew, solid wood sideboards, dining tables that came in through a window because the hallway turns. The crew brings the tools to split a wardrobe into its panels and takes the legs off a table before they move it, so you do not need to take anything apart yourself.
Bury Council runs a bulky waste collection that is booked ahead, with the furniture left outside on the set day. We collect from the room it is in and aim for same-day or next-day wherever possible. Everything we take goes to a licensed waste transfer station under our upper tier waste carrier licence, CBDU526130, where the wood, metal and glass are separated, unless it can be passed on for reuse.
One fixed price from your photo
Send a picture, get a price for the whole job, pay once it is on the van. If anything looks different from the photo when we arrive, we tell you before we lift it.

Furniture removal in Prestwich: questions answered
Which parts of Prestwich do you cover?
This Prestwich page covers the M25 postcode district. If your postcode district is not in that list, send a photo anyway and we will tell you straight away.
How quickly can you collect furniture in Prestwich?
Same-day or next-day collection is offered wherever possible. Email early in the morning for the best chance of a slot that day, and we tell you what we can do before you commit.
Can you collect from a flat in Prestwich?
Yes. Two people carry the furniture down the stairs or take it in the lift, and anything too big for either comes apart in the room first. Say which floor it is on and whether there is a lift, and the price we send already allows for the route.
Do I need to be in?
Someone needs to let the crew in and point to the furniture. If a neighbour, a letting agent or a key safe can do that instead, say so in your email.
What happens to my furniture after collection?
Furniture that is still sound is passed on for reuse where possible. The rest goes to a licensed waste transfer station, where the wood, metal and glass are separated and recovered rather than sent to landfill.
Why not use the council bulky waste collection in Prestwich?
You can, through Bury Council. It is booked ahead and the furniture usually has to go outside on the set day. We collect from the room it is in, take it apart if we have to, and aim for same-day or next-day where possible. Send a photo and compare.
