Prestonpans sits under East Lothian Council, and our furniture removal covers the EH32 postcode district, including Cockenzie and Port Seton. Send a picture of what needs to go, we reply with a fixed price, and two people carry it out from wherever it is.
Every job in Prestonpans is priced from your photo: the carrying, any taking apart, the loading and the disposal in one figure, with nothing added on the day. Mention anything that affects the route, such as a first-floor flat with no lift, a fitted wardrobe that is screwed to the wall or a solid oak table, and the price we send covers it.
The alternative in Prestonpans is the council bulky waste collection run by East Lothian Council, which is booked ahead and usually means getting the furniture outside yourself. We take it from inside the property and aim for same-day or next-day collection wherever possible. Our upper tier waste carrier licence is CBDU526130, and we can tell you where the furniture went and provide a waste transfer note.
One fixed price from your photo
Send a picture, get a price for the whole job, pay once it is on the van. If anything looks different from the photo when we arrive, we tell you before we lift it.

Furniture removal in Prestonpans: questions answered
Which parts of Prestonpans do you cover?
This Prestonpans page covers the EH32 postcode district. If your postcode district is not in that list, send a photo anyway and we will tell you straight away.
How quickly can you collect furniture in Prestonpans?
Same-day or next-day collection is offered wherever possible. Email early in the morning for the best chance of a slot that day, and we tell you what we can do before you commit.
Can you collect from a flat in Prestonpans?
Yes. Two people carry the furniture down the stairs or take it in the lift, and anything too big for either comes apart in the room first. Say which floor it is on and whether there is a lift, and the price we send already allows for the route.
Do I need to be in?
Someone needs to let the crew in and point to the furniture. If a neighbour, a letting agent or a key safe can do that instead, say so in your email.
What happens to my furniture after collection?
Furniture that is still sound is passed on for reuse where possible. The rest goes to a licensed waste transfer station, where the wood, metal and glass are separated and recovered rather than sent to landfill.
Why not use the council bulky waste collection in Prestonpans?
You can, through East Lothian Council. It is booked ahead and the furniture usually has to go outside on the set day. We collect from the room it is in, take it apart if we have to, and aim for same-day or next-day where possible. Send a photo and compare.
